Salil Amrute is a highly accomplished Indian music composer, producer, and sound designer who has been an integral part of the film industry for over 15 years. His diverse musical portfolio spans both mainstream Bollywood and regional Punjabi cinema, showcasing his versatility in creating compelling soundscapes that enhance cinematic storytelling.

Amrute began his professional journey in the mid-2000s, initially making significant contributions as an additional composer and music programmer. He gained early recognition for his work on major Bollywood hits, notably “Shootout at Lokhandwala” in 2007. Over the years, he has specialized in composing impactful background scores, a crucial element in establishing a film’s emotional tone. His exceptional talent in this area was officially recognized when he won the prestigious Best Background Score Award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards for the movie “Ishq Brandy” (2014).

His other notable film credits include “Life Partner,” “Hate Story,” and “Dakuaan Da Munda.” Beyond his creative work in India, Amrute is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder of Born Again Productions UK, a company that provides top-tier international production services, including ADR and VFX, operating from his state-of-the-art studio in Hayes, London.
