Susan Heyward is a skilled American actress known for her compelling performances in television, film, and theater. Born on November 19, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, Heyward developed a passion for acting and pursued formal training to refine her skills. She attended Carnegie Mellon University, one of the most prestigious drama schools in the United States, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Following her graduation, she began working extensively in theater, including performing in Broadway productions like “The Trip to Bountiful” and “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” where she played Rose Granger-Weasley. Heyward’s television career began to gain momentum with guest appearances in shows like “Law & Order” and “30 Rock.” She landed her first major television role as Detective Deena Pilgrim in the PlayStation Network superhero series “Powers” (2015–2016).
