Khushbu Sundar (born Nakhat Khan on 29 September 1970) is an Indian film actress, television personality, film producer and politician. She began her career as a child artist in The Burning Train (1980), then rose to stardom in Tamil cinema with lead roles throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, earning state awards and critical acclaim. With more than 200 films across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages, Khushbu became one of South Indian cinema’s beloved stars. Beyond acting, she co‑founded production house Avni Cinemax with her husband Sundar C and later transitioned into politics, joining DMK (2010), Congress (2014) and BJP (2020).
