Mahaakshay Chakraborty, professionally known as Mimoh Chakraborty, is an Indian actor recognized for his work in Hindi cinema. Born on 30 July 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he belongs to one of Bollywood’s well-known film families as the son of veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali. Growing up in a cinematic environment inspired him to pursue acting, and he received professional acting training at the New York Film Academy before entering the entertainment industry. He made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with Jimmy. Although the film did not perform well commercially, he continued to build his career with films such as Haunted 3D, Loot, Enemmy, Rocky, Ishqedarriyaan, Tukkaa Fitt, Main Mulayam Singh Yadav, Rosh, and Jogira Sara Ra Ra. Haunted 3D remains one of his most recognized performances and became India’s first stereoscopic 3D horror film. Beyond films, he has also appeared in web and streaming projects, including Netflix’s Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, demonstrating his willingness to explore diverse formats. Apart from acting, Mahaakshay is known for his interest in gaming, mixed martial arts, astrophysics, reading, and writing. He married actress Madalsa Sharma in July 2018. Despite facing professional highs and lows, he has consistently expressed his commitment to improving his craft and establishing his own identity beyond his family’s legacy. He continues to work across Hindi and regional cinema while exploring new opportunities in digital entertainment.
