Anupriya Goenka: Overview

Anupriya Goenka was born on May 29, 1987, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, into a Marwari family. Her father Ravindra Kumar Goenka is a garment entrepreneur and mother Pushpa Goenka is a homemaker. She has two sisters and one brother. Anupriya studied at Gyan Bharati School, Delhi, and graduated with B.Com from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Before acting, she worked in her family’s garment export business. Her passion for theatre led her to NSD workshops and plays like Pygmalion and American Dream. Anupriya made her film debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003) remake and gained attention with Bobby Jasoos (2014). She received critical acclaim for portraying Pakhi in Sacred Games (2018-2019), one of Netflix India’s first original series. Her other notable works include Padmaavat (2018), Criminal Justice (2020), and Aashram (2020-present) as Babita. Anupriya has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil films and OTT platforms extensively.
