Manush Nandan, hailing from Shivamogga in Karnataka’s Western Ghats, is an acclaimed Indian cinematographer working across Hindi and Tamil cinema. He studied at the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu and trained under master cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran during his formative years. Nandan assisted on major Bollywood projects including Yash Raj Films’ Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and My Name is Khan (2010) before Farah Khan recommended him for Happy New Year (2014). His directorial debut as cinematographer came with Tamil film Yaan (2014), showcasing his signature style of blending technical precision with artistic visual storytelling. With a strong photography background, Nandan excels in capturing authentic emotions through innovative lighting, composition, and fluid camera movements.
