Faisal began acting at age 14 with his debut film Nahi Abhi Nahi (1980) starring Shabnam. He worked extensively in Pakistani cinema during the 1980s, appearing in 36 films including Aladdin, Biwi Ho To Aisi, Naraaz, and Guns and Roses: Ik Junoon.
